Cassington

The village of Cassington - situated roughly 13 miles from Bicester - takes its name from the Old English 'Caersentun' ('settlement where cress grows'). Over the years, archaeologists have unearthed evidence proving that the area has been inhabited since as far back as Neolithic times (c.10,000 - 2,200 BC).
