Bicester Magistrates Court (Waverley House)
The former Bicester Magistrates Court (also known as Waverley House), situated on Queen's Avenue, was built during the 1950's. It became the local courthouse circa the late 1970's, but closed its doors for good sometime around 2017.
As of 2023, the building's future is uncertain; an planning application was made last year to convert it into flats, but there is now talk of it being demolished.
The photographs below show the property in 1957, and again in 2023.
